EVENTS UPDATE

Quick Links....
Right, I've got the next Manchester event sorted out now, Gill Best from Caelum Coaching will be leading a session on the LAB (Language and Behaviour) profile, stunning stuff that will change the way that you communicate, I guarantee !

The Liverpool event is Terry McCoy on the fascinating subject of Insight, this event was the fastest filling event I have ever publicised !! nearly full on the first day, theres 6 places left on that now.

Somebody mentioned Coaching Qualifications at the last meeting, one of our supporters has just published a new schedule of certified Coaching Courses, see NoGuru details here)

As usual, there is no up-front charge for the events and we have a whip-round on the night to cover costs and tea and biccies....

Occasionally I allow our supporters to promote their services to our members but only if I consider it to be in keeping with our ethos and values, this is one way of showing our gratitude to these people and organisations that help us out, let me know if you don't want to be part of that.

LIVERPOOL MEETING - "Insight" 25th FEBRUARY 2010

The next session in Liverpool is something really new.
Terry McCoy is a NLP Trainer who has done many sessions and workshops for us in the past, usually stretching the boundaries of NLP, Hypnotherpay and EFT. Terry is now exploring aspects of Neuroscience and it's practical applications in Personal Discovery and Client Support.

His workshop on 25th February will be on the topic of "Insight", come along and discover the neuroscience of insight and how you can increase the chances of insight happening. Explore the connections between the Flow state, New code NLP  and more! This will be an intriguing session.

(Terry has a special offer for Therapists at the moment, check this out)

LAB Profile is an advanced communication skill that arises from attuned listening and objective observation. When you want to influence somebody else you must first know the kind of language that works for them, which words will hit the mark and how they will take notice of your message.

Gill Best is a long standing member of the North West Coaching Circle and has presented on this topic previously, she is an accredited LAB Coach and runs her own coaching business Caelum Coaching . She will take you through the key elements of this powerful communication and influencing tool, as a big fan myself I know that it will give you strategies that you can use right away and will continue to use in all your future communications in all walks of life.

If you are a regular supporter of the North West Coaching Circle and especially if you have done sessions for us in the last or have volunteered to, then I am more than happy to publicise any of your forthcoming events on the website. Currently I do this for free as we keep it within the memership. I have had a number of discussions with people recently about charging for such advertising and this is a consideration, maybe if the event is of a significant commercial nature.
Drop me a line..... HERE

CPD Certificates are available at all meetings, no extra charge,

NLP and Emotional Intelligence in Manchester

Many of us have grown up believing that we have to do something we don’t particularly enjoy in order to earn our living - and that work must necessarily involve a degree of sacrifice and struggle. You've probably been taught that you can work for love or money, but not for love AND money. But you can have both! Tonight, Nick will share nine highly practical ways for you to discover the work you were born to do - whether you're already on the right track with your work and business - or if you're ready for a big change in direction.

Knowledge Cafe 0151

The Knowledge Cafe network was founded by David Gurteen (http://gurteen.com) as an informal but real place for people wanting to make a difference in business and society, who wish to share knowledge and learn from each other, and who strive to see the world differently.

Knowledge cafe 0151, based in Liverpool and serving the North West of England and N. Wales, welcomes, in particular, the eccentric and the curious from business and academia, sciences and arts. The vision is to create an eclectic mix of people who, together, could make a difference to the region in one way or another.

And if that sounds a bit heavy, then it's a great community to discuss all sorts of interesting stuff, over a drink, in the a great hostelry in Liverpool....just come along and see for yourself, all welsome.... details here.

Some of you will have met Paul Worpole at recent North West Coaching Circle events, Paul is a professional Photographer specialising in publicity photographs for professional use on websites, brochures and all PR material. I was chatting to him in "Ye Cracke" which is the pub we go to after the Liverpool meetings about how important a good portrait is, we had just had the session about "Attracting more Clients" by Olivia Stefanino...
Paul suggested (two pints later !) that he could do some professional portraits for NWCC members at one of the meetings...well we would have to add some extra time of course.... but by getting 5 of us together, he could get the costs right down.

What he suggested was that he would take as many images as necessary to give 10 good head and shoulder portraits and also high resolution versions of these on a CD for use on a Website, emails, brochures, etc, etc. And full copyright ownership by you.

This would be for £65 instead of £125. If we don't do it at one of the meetings then he would still let us have the deal for £75 if we travel to his studio in Chester.

So let me know if you are interested and we'll see if we can get 5 together and arrange a "shoot",
You can see Paul's details on his website below.
